- This Construction Management project was a special project taken on to bring a much needed service to our community.
About this Project
Complete development of a new 18,000 sq ft 9-bed residential hospice facility where much of the project was funded by community donations and included labour volunteers. As a community based project for a well needed service, this was a very special project for J. P. Commercial Contractors. All employees worked along with various volunteers & local tradespeople, ensuring everything was completed first class, as if it were their own home. Work completed included site preparation, metal framework, electrical, mechanical, interior finishes including drywall, paint, flooring and ceilings, exterior finishes including roofing, masonry, sliding, landscaping, and parking area.
The building consists of offices, meeting spaces, full kitchen, laundry, bedrooms and bathrooms, family and living spaces along with a living wall to bring some green space indoors for those no longer able to go outdoors.
