About this Project
Phase 1 included the complete site development & construction of 28 new affordable housing units within 7 new buildings on a formerly vacant site for the Owen Sound Municipal Non-Profit Housing Corporation. Working closely with the housing manager, the project was completed safely, on time and on budget. Using local trades and resources, in conjunction with the Housing Corporation’s forces and volunteer board of directors, the project was a great success.
Phase 2 of the Odawa Heights project involved the building of a single storey, 8-unit building, plus a community space building with 2 units to accommodate “Reach-Grey Bruce”. A design/build approach allowed construction to begin quickly, which in turn allowed the new buildings to be occupied sooner.
